What is Heart Synergex?
Synergy, from the Greek word 'synergos', meaning 'work together', is a term often used by nutritionists when the benefits of combining certain ingredients are greater than the sum of their parts. Our top nutritionists created Synergex, inspired in the ancient Greek term synergy, combining premium heart-friendly ingredients specially designed to complement each other. Your heart is one of the most hard-working organs in your body. It beats on average 100,000 times a day, and never takes a holiday, so it deserves as much support and TLC as possible. Synergex contains plant sterols, natural compounds that have been shown to help maintain normal blood cholesterol levels*, and a concentrated omega 3 fish oil that provides high levels of DHA and EPA fatty acids, which have been shown to aid cardiac function**. We also include Co-enzyme Q10, a substance that is present in particularly high concentration in the energy-intensive cells of the heart, and an odour-free garlic extract that contains sulphur compounds, such as allicin, which have beneficial effects within the body. Finally, there's a cardio-vitamin complex containing the full range of B vitamins, including thiamine, which is involved in cardiac function and the maintenance of energy levels, plus vitamin D3 for muscle health.

In light of recent changes to our fish oils, our capsule shells have switched from marine-source gelatin to Halal certified animal-source gelatin. Animal-source gelatin is more durable than marine-source gelatin, therefore reducing the risk of your capsules leaking and making them easier to remove from the blister pack.
